Simple Gluten Free Donuts!!

One of the biggest things I miss being GF is DONUTS!!! Tell me I am not alone?! We have an awesome local bakery in town where I can snag a GF donut every once in a while but $5 for a GF donut will quickly bust my budget… especially having most of the house GF.

So we make these at LEAST once a month. We are working on mastering a Maple Icing but we haven’t yet. Once we do I will post an updated recipe.

I actually snagged this recipe from my friend Juliana who is such an amazing baker! She’s actually the one who designed this blog for me. She isn’t gluten-free but she loves me and the kiddos and goes out of her way to make us special treats.

Here’s the quick rundown of the recipe:

Preheat to 350
Mix together in this order:
1/2 cup yogurt or sour cream
1/2 cup sugar (I use coconut sugar))
1/4 cup melted butter
1 egg
1 cup Pamela’s Baking Mix
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
Dash of cinnamon and nutmeg

Spoon batter into trays so they are about 1/2 full.

Bake for 15 minutes or until they are no longer gooey!

Flip the pan and enjoy! We sprinkled these with powdered sugar, milk, and some dye free sprinkles!
